Greetings, I am in lovely landlocked East Tennessee. Please don't suggest our local sail loft as we ain't got none. I have a full batten main, a jib and a genny. I've had them 4-5 years. Not sure of their history. The jib and jenny both have some seams coming loose. I'm sure they are getting some age on them. I'd like recommendations for who to send them to to have them cleaned and the seams checked, taped, fixed. No racing, no big wind, no big bucks to replace at the moment. Also would be nice if they were quick as we get to sail here in the winter. Thanks. Mike

Called sailcare. They have a 4-5 MONTH turnaround. They say 2-3 weeks in summer. I guess I'll wait. Mike

Mike I sent my sails in around the 1st of November. They were running their annual 15% off sale at the time. It took 6 weeks to get them back. It's understandable that they are really backed up now. A lot of people do not haul their boats until Dec. and are just now sending them in to have them serviced. Should you decide to wait until next Fall plan on sending them about the time I did. They generally offer an additional 15% off for early birds. To be honest, my sails are the originals and were looking pretty shabby. The main needed some mending around the batten pockets and a small hole (quarter size)needed fixing. They came back white, not yellow, and whereever the stitching was questionable they took care of it. Think the total bill was about $330 for the 110 jib and main. I did not have them replace the insignias, that was an extra $80. I figure the next go around we might just buy some new sails. Maybe a furler. Steve
