I'm trying to find the PERF rating of my 1961 Yankee Dolphin 24' keel-centerboard. I'm also wondering if the boat has a grandfathered PERF rating. I will be planning to race on Lake Winnebago, Wisconsin if it matters. Any informationg on my boat or where i could find out more is greatly appreciated. Max 1961 Yankee Dolphin

PHRF ratings
PHRF ratings are usually set by your local PHRF committee based on how your boat is equipped and how similar boats have performed. For example, my Hunter 28.5 is rated locally as 183, yet other H28.5's in other regions have been burdened by their rating committees at 174. The Yankee Dolphin 24 isa great little cruiser and would probably rate around 246. While that might seem slow to some, it may be to your advantage in handicap racing. This is a very nice boat.
