bracket

I purchased a Garelick motor bracket(offshore auxillary outboard) for my 25 Oday. It supports a 9.9 honda 4-stroke long shaft and weighs in at approx. 110 lbs. It is a little expensive, $230 range but the motor raises and lower easily and I believe worth every penny. Check it out -

Gareleck Motor Mounts

I have a Gareleck twin arm mount on my 22 for a 9.9 HP two-stroke outboard and it does just fine. The Gaeleck mount adapts to a reverse cant transom like my 22 Oday has. I recommend using Gareleck, it's worth the investment. You might want to make sure your transom mounting plate is in good shape. I had to reinforce mine with a piece of 3/4" marine ply. Bracket no. ii

The honda 9.9 weighing 110 lbs. is possibly heavier than yours but noy measurably so. The Garlich bracket was slightly wider than the wedge on the boat and I built a wider wedge, hopefully this is not the same in your situation. If you require a larger wedge I can provide the steps I used
