Need new masthead light - GE-68

I need to go up the mast and replace my old masthead light. My Newport 30-III manual from 1987 says it takes a GE-68 bulb.

I checked online and it appears that GE does not use that classification any more.

So I don't have to climb the mast more than once, any ideas what an equivalent bulb is on this?

#68 bulb is available

at any autoparts store, but as long as you are climbing up there, why not go led? Tim

John, We changed our anchor light bulb to led and went from

2ah to .2ah. If you anchor alot IMHO it's worth the dollars.

Thanks for the link, Steve. One really frustrating aspect of the SBO store (at least shop.hunterowners.com) is that they use a different item number than Dr. LED's part number. So, you read Dr. LED's catalog, figure out exactly what you want, and then you can't be sure that's what you're ordering from SBO.
