My windows are pretty old and need to be replaced. The windows are sewn into the dodger. I would like to send the dodger to someone that would replace them. Any suggestions? One thought is SailCare? They have done some repair work for me before and I have been happy. Any thoughts? Can you do this job yourself? Where would you buy stratagalss? Thanks.

Any local canvas shop.

Just get estimates from some local canvas shops. Even an awning shop can do that for you if the "glass" is delivered. You do not indicate your location so that responders can provide some recommendations.

Pat.....

Look for a canvas shop in your area, perferably one that does marine related work. They'll have experience with the different kinds of transparant materials and can best advise what should be done. Dick

looking in Chicago area preferably

Sorry, I thought I typed in Chicago in my original post - not sure what happened. Anyway Chicago, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin are preferable but if I have to put dodger in a box and ship to east or west coast that is an option. In Chicago there are not too many local shops that I know of. I don't think the 5 months of boating can support the business. Thanks again.

Pat, Check out INDYCANVAS.COM Contact is Troy Brake. I had all new canvas done at excellant prices and good service. Although they are a wab based company, they are located on the outskirts of Inianapolis. You won't be dissappointed.
