Need Mast Foot Z-1112. Crazy Dave Help?

I need a new mast foot for my Hunter 18.5. It is a Z-Spar Z-1112. I have called US Spars and they have not made this style for over 10 years. Any idea how to obtain one? My understanding is that they were made for the Z145/190 mast.

If I remember correctly the best way to communicate with them is via FAX. Of course that is assuming they are still in business.

If the foot is formed steel and not cast, a sheet metal or machine shop might be able to help. Actually if it was cast they might be able to form one out of welded SS. Ray T

assuming the mast foot of which you speak is the block which fits into the base of the mast and forms the top piece of the hinge, having broken the nipple through which the hinge pin fits, i was able to get a new one arc welded and ground to shape, $145, at a machine shop, they quoted over $500 to build a new one out of stainless steel, i tried for ayear to find a replacement without any luck so good luck to you

Thanks. I will go to a metal shop. It appears a replacement is virtually impossible. I have tried everywhere!
