NEED Info./pictures of the 1986 Catalina 22

Hello --I'm thinking about buying a 1986 Cat 22. I have yet to see the boat asit is about 3.5 hours one way from my house. The owner has no pics hecan send me. I really don't want to drive all that way for nothing.The guy is asking $5,900.00 and it has a trailer and outboard etc. I'mtold everything is original on the boat and in good condition. Is thisboat worth that? Anything I should know about this boat? Any info.would be very much appreciated.Thanks,Pat

Go to www.catalina22.org and look at the "1987 Sales Brochure Sail Number 14567". I have an '86 and prefer the cabin layout to the pre-86 and and post-94 models. If the sails are original then they are probably tired and in need of replacing. A new main and jib run about $1,000. Visit www.thesailwarehouse.com for an idea of cost.
