See forum, archives, owner reviews

The basic difference is that Hunter boats in that era were designed by John Cherubini, and came with certain features that have made them popular. Go the the list of Forums on this site and find the Cherubini forum, then when you get there do a search on 33 on the left side of the page. You'll find specs etc. Then try the owner reviews on the 33. Then do an archive search. You'll find a ton of information dealing with specifics through the years.

Inspection points

First make sure you get the boat surveyed by a professional surveyor. Here are some major points of concern that I had to deal with on my boat after I bought it. 1. Crawl into the stern and check the cockpit drain and steering plate under the binnacle. 2. Check throttle and gear shift cables for smooth operation. 3. Check out the wiring, if it looks bad, it is bad and unsafe 4. Usually the plastic ports are about shot and leak, and will need replaced Good luck.
