Need Help with HIN# for S28.0A

I'm looking to buy a S2 8.0A and need help reading the HIN#.

I thought they made this model from 1974-1975 and only made 40 units.

I have emailed seller asking for photo of title and photo of Hull showing the HIN#

If your photo is the boat that isn't an 8.0A, which was flush decked with a tiny doghouse cabin. It is an 8.0B. The hull number is 104, not 04, I believe. The A wasn't built in 1976 as it had a really short run (74-75) before the redesign.

Not according to S2. The 13 page letter says they only made them in 75 LOL.

The S2 in the photo is a 1980 8.0B I bought back in Nov. the one I speak of has the short dog house.
