Is anyone else? On my puter at home I get an error message that the website may be down etc. I have tried deleting history, cookies, temp internet files, Everything but passwords nd form data and still a no go. Any bright ideas. Obviously the site is alive and well. Posted this on phone.

There are times and it seems to be often that I can't get on this site either and can get on other sites, some days I blame it on them (to much traffic?) and some days I go down stairs and reset the router by unpluging it and repowering it up and all is well again so I blame it on my internet provider and at the office I never ever have a problem and thats Verizon DSL
so your not alone

i too, can not connect to this site very often.......

i think it is the sailboatowners site provider not offer enough space. i just wait fifteen minutes or so and try again and can get on. this is one of my daily stops and the only one i have ever had problems with. the good news is the content and education i receive out weigh any inconvience.

Tried test and it didn't work

I'll try rebooting the router. If that doesn't work I'l try the cable station. Hopefully things will be copacetic on thursday.
Thanks guys,
Frank

Web Acces

I am having intermittant access as well - but I think this is because work is being done to the site as in updating the pages. I do not do anything and it works later. The question asked here is that CAGUY is having problems accessing this site and not others therefore I do not see how resetting the router and DSL modem would help.

See... tried Timo42's link to Ida Sailor and got an error message.

Is that superstition or Karma?

Ah yes, but not after Wednesday!

For those who haven't seen this please check the headline article on the home page.

The platform we've been using for 10 years is now so obsolete it doesn't run very well. What you're experiencing is a server crash which makes the site unavailable for 1-10 minutes or more. Then it's back up. Happens several times a day.

We are moving the whole enchilada to a new format, new code, new server on Wednesday night. It will be different, but better. And it will be much more reliable.
