I need to transport an Oday20 on a trailer. I have not seen the boat and will not have an opportunity to do so before I locate the trailer. I need to know about the bottom of this particular boat. 1. Is the centerboard fully retractable? 2. If so, does it retract into a "fixed keel" (that protrudes from an otherwise 'flat bottom')? 3. If so, how far does this "fixed keel" protrude down beneath the otherwise "flat" bottom? Obviously, I need to make sure that whatever trailer I find (then drive hundreds of miles to go pick up this boat) is going to be able to handle it. I would sure appreciate help from anyone at this point - got to go pick it up in about 2 weeks. THANK YOU ALL in advance Andy Clark aclark01@harris.com

I just went on the O'day sister site to this one. From the pictures it looks like there is a centerboard trunk that does stick down, but it looks like it is less than a foot. Based on the photos of a few on trailers, most of them are on fairly light weight power boat style trailers. I suggst you contact some of the owners listed directly as you don't have much time to figure this out. How are you going to get the boat on the trailer? Bob

Hey ANDY, You beat me to it. Guys I have a trailer that I use for my O'day 26' after looking at the enfo listed in this thread I do believe my trailer will be more than adequate for the task at hand. The center of the trailer is multiple rollers with fully adjustable rollers and wench/tongue is adjustable also. thanks for all the input.
