need help finding boat

Hi I am trying to find a double masted small-under 18 feet- open boat made in the 70's. I remember the ads and maybe even their being included in Sail mag.'s annual issue. I can't remember the builder. Also, recall they had dark red sails and think they were British made(?). Does anybody recall these boats? Thanks Larry
