We plan to sail our "Benny" down the Intercoastal Waterway to Sarasota in June of this year and hope to get thru the West Palm Inlet transiting the locks there at Lake Okeechobee and continuing West to the Gulf, exiting at Ft. Meyers. I anticipate taking 4-6 weeks for the trip. I have a Garmin GPS180 with the NYC to Block Island chip but am reluctant to purchase the $1,000 worth of chips I will need to cover this trip which I'll only make once. ( I'm retiring ) QUESTION: Is there anybody out there in posession of the chips covering the East Coast who might be interested in selling me (or better yet, RENTING me)those chips?
