Lancer Lancer 30 Mk V Bodkin Creek/Chesapeake Bay
Just purchased a 1984 Lancer 30 Mk V, and three of the galley drawers are missing. I can build the drawer but I need to purchase 2-3 of the drawer fronts. Attached is a photo of one. Ideally I'd get teak (and off an old Lancer) but I can make do with pine. Anyone have any suggestions where I could obtain them? Thanks!

Go to a local cabinet shop. They should be able to get you what you need.

Ooohhh.... a terrific reason to invest in a router and table. I am always looking for reasons (don't even have to be good reasons, mind you) to buy more power tools. Besides recovering some of the router investment money by making your own.... a myriad of new boat projects will amazingly rear its beautiful head.

If you can make the drawers you can make the drawer fronts as well. Chances are you will pay almost as much to have them made as to buy a small router and table.

in an efficient wood working shop it should take about an hr and 1/2 to make the fronts ...granted they have the teak on hand ...this includes cutting to size... drilling the finger holes and edge trimming..sanding......if they have no teak have them make all three of them out of red oak and stain them with mission oak penetrating oil stain that will take a little longer.....about a 2 hr event

Cedar would also look very nice and be a close match to the table top you showed in the picture.

I like cherry wood for this project.
