Hello All,
I am in need of replacing all the interior doors (V-berth, aft berth and head) as well as all floor boards and lids. I cannot find a resource anywhere, could someone please give me some suggestions and guidance. It is urgent as we are nearing the final stages of a flooding repair job. Ideally doors and boards new in the box would be great, but open to salvage, custom made, anything at all. All replies and help welcomed.
Thank you,
Barrett Owens

Best way would be to take the old parts to a good cabinet maker and ask for replications. Not cheap, but they could do 'em correctly.. Good luck ..

Since I can't see the damaged doors, this may be a moot point.

After Katrina I had to reconstruct many homes. I encounter many solid wood doors that were warped, finish gone and split. Replacement ran as high as $6k each.

Guess how many my team replaced?

ZERO!!!!

It is amazing what a good carpenter with sander, glue, filler, stain, sealer and clamps can do to remove warps and restore a door.

The worst Katrina door was $6k and we did it better than new for $500.
