I'd check out the Day Sailer Class association Web Site, www.daysailer.org
A lot of the racers buy new sails long before the old ones wear out and sell the old ones, as a new DS owner they will want to help you out. Not sure of prices, but a used suit of sails should cost less than new. Another option is to order new sails from D&R Marine, their price is about 1/2 to 2/3 the cost of most sailmaker prices. www.drmarine.com
Rudy is selling Neil Pryde OEM sails (in other words, the same quality as the factory sails from O'Day).
If you need an Owners Manual/rigging guide, D&R Marine sells copies of the O'Day original or I have created an expanded version with more diagrams. I think Rudy charges $6.00 for the O'Day rigging sheet, my expanded version is $10.00
