Need Cradle Pad Height for Pearson 28

Hello all, I recently purchased a Pearson 28 (1977). When we went to pull her out of the water for winter storage, one of the 1" threaded adjustment screws bent. After taking it to a machine shop where they heated it up and straightened it, we put it back into the cradle and noticed all the pads were varying heights. I'm not sure how this occurred but I now find myself in a predicament.

If someone has a cradle and can measure the distance of the pads (Laying flat) to the bottom of the keel level, it would allow me to have a good idea as to where they should be set. I'm afraid when we try again the same thing may happen or worse.

If the boat is hauled out with a travel lift or crane you should be able to set it on the keel and adjust the pads to support the boat. The boat sits on its keel and the pads don’t really bear weight they just hold it in place.

It took me 3 tries but I finally got it out of the water. I had some modifications done to beef up the threaded rods on the two front stanchions. I also had the stanchions angled inward to give more support than being vertical. Even doing all this I still had to tie a tow line to the truck pulling her out. I think the angle at our ramp may have been too steep without doing all this.
