In reworking my H33 I had the bow plate off and it is just laid up fiberglas with black coloring. I suppose the H30 is the same. If there is enough of the original to be sure of the dimensions, someone used to working in fiberglas repair could make it good as new for you.

Bob...this is totally off subject but are you related to Jim Syzmanski who graduated from VMI???i did also and he was my company commanderjust curiousbtw...i have a damaged bow plate on my 1983 hunter 27i am going to do west system to repair the fiberglass (at first i thought it was metal!!!) and then paint it with black imroni have redone the nonskid with gray imron and it looks great!!! I replaced mine on my 76 h30 with one I fabricated out of 1/8"SS flat plate. I had to have some welding done to close the seam around the curved part, but the welder did such a good job that you can not tell that it is welded. Good luckRoyce
