Brewers Marina in Westbrook CT, or Port Milford in Milford CT. both are skilled and experienced with all types of sailboat repairs, and are the two largest facilities that come to mind in this area.

Mystic Shipyard has done repair work for me. Very professional. They also don't dither around. My job was insurance and they worked well with the adjuster.

Cherubini Yachts

Cherubini Yachts in Delran NJ is/was unaffected by the storm. We currently have two damaged boats from Staten Island, a 1959 Swiftsure 32 and a 1982 Raider 33. Both of these distraught owners took solace in our reputation and now their lovely boats are getting the TLC and attention to detail that are Cherubini family-business hallmarks.

We have affordable trucking services available and (as yet) room indoors for a boat of this size. We can do any work at all, small- or large-scale. We'd love to have you pop by for a visit in any case. Contact me via e-mail and I'll get things moving.

(If this looks like an ad, Phil, I'm sorry; but we're all here to help each other!)

If you can get one down this far, Cape Fear boat Works here on the river has plenty on room. 75 ton lift, good help, and you can leave it on the hill for 200 bucks a month. Work on it yourself if you like. It's my second home, I love the place.

The best yard to do the work you need depends a lot on where you are and what you need done. Pilot's Point in Westbrook (CT) is capable of major wood or glass rebuilds, but if you're in New Jersey, it's a bit of a hike to get there. Dutch Wharf, in Branford CT does excellent work. There must be someone near you who can do similar work. There may excellent yards in Maryland that might be closer. Where are you? It makes a big difference.

Currently I am iin Sea Brite NJ, but I would be willing to transport it over the road.
CT or RI,
There is a Dodson Boatyard in Sonington that also provides transportation services.
I will be talking with them tomorrow.
I'll check out both Dutch Wharf and Pilot's Point
Thank you

FYI, Pilot's Point is a Brewers yard (the same one I mentioned originally), it can be hard to find by them by their local name sometimes.

Trucking a 46-footer over the Tappan Zee to CT or RI will be one heck of a transport bill; and their yard rates are likely going to be at the upper end. We are about 55 miles down Rt 537 from you. And we still have room... but there is work coming soon. Beat the rush! :)
