Need an electrician on Long Island

I own a 2007 Hunter 41DS. Recently, when I turned on my forward AC, i smelled something burning and smoke by the panel over the nav station. I called out an AC guy and he found that the neutral wires behind the panel had fried and said I need an electrician. I cannot find one out here that knows sailboats - any suggestions?

The ABYC website has a directory of ABYC Certified Technicians. That would be a good way to start. Boat wiring and House wiring are different, you want a marine electrician.

I suggest you contact Willis Marine or Coneys. Both are in Huntington. Both have good reputations for quality work. Neither are cheap.
