I need to find a cheap trailer, does not matter what condition it's in. I damaged the center board and god knows what else when I hit rock. I need to get my 25' out of the water and I need to paint.... I would like to know what I need to do regarding what kind of paint to use, how many layers to apply, what different types of paint I need, etc. Also, how do I remove the center board. In the case i can not find a trailer, i would like to dive under the boat and remove the center board in order to repair it. How do I remove it, what kind of tools do I need, and how long would it take me.

Get it Out

Get it out of the water and on jacks. There is 2 ss plates at the bow end of the CB opening. Remove those and there are wedges that hold in the pivot pins. Make sure your board is down before removing as it is heavy. Good luck.

Have it hauled out...

Any decent marina should have a hoist and harness for pulling boats much larger then yours out. They should be able to set it up in the yard for you as well. Don't know what it costs though, as I have a trailer for mine :) Check around, you should be able to find one that will let you do your own work in their yard. Josh
