Those are really hard to come by. You could try Torresen Marine(Related Link). But I have found that automotive electric shops can fix most anything and are very reasonably priced.
Thanks Ed, I was told by a local shop that the armature was bad and they could get a new for about $100.00, Fat Chance, I took it apart ,found the problem to be two wires had come loose from the commutator which I re-soldered,had it checked out and all is well. Sorry to hear about your auto shop experience. The shop I use would have charged less than $15. before calling me to say the wires needed soldered. Maybe $20. total. Glad you were able to save the $700. and the $100. though.
