Hey Guys, anybody got a Catalina 30 MKII laying around handy they could get me a quick set of measurements on the six loop teak handrails on the cabin top?
I was going to sew up a set of Sunbrella handrail covers this week for my '89 and (of course) I drove 4 hours home, and realize I left the measurements on the boat  So knowing how helpful my fellow 30 owners can be, I thought I might ask y'all for this little favor. All I need is Length at deck level and height from deck to top of rail. Thanks So VERY VERY much!

Well according to the CATALINA DIRECT website, the six loop teak handrail measures 73 inches. If you go onto their site you will see it advertised under Hull/Deck then onto railings. As for height...I cannot help you out, but if I had to guess no more then 3 inches sounds good. I have the Mark II as well, but won't be going up to the boat for another weekend or two.

OF COURSE! Catalina Direct! ... Sorry all.
Thanks Bob... classic case of over thinking while driving. I will try to keep future buffoonery to a minimum.

Sanford, I don't know how you plan on making them, but here is what worked well for me. They go on and come off easily. I used Sunbrella supreme, one side is canvass and the other side is soft microfiber like texture. Make them a little longer than you think you need because you have to allow for the thickness of the wood.
