This connector is worn out and needs replacing. I have only seen 2 and 4-5 pin connectors. Any ideas out there? Thanks, and Happy Holidays!

It was crap from the get go. Replaced it with an Aqua Signal six or eight pin I forget and have had zero issues with it for the last eight years or so.

Sources for Special connectors

Not sure about that exact connector, but Allied Electronics has many Amphenol connectors plus others that may work. This link takes you to their connector section. 9000 possibilities here. http://www.alliedelec.com/Catalog/Indices/Products.asp?N=4294965379&sid=457608006BEC617F Or try Digikey. This pdf from their catalog has a few possibilities. http://dkc3.digikey.com/PDF/T063/0294-0296.pdf

Thru deck fitting

I used a five pin aqua signal for the masthead windvane/speed and a clamshell for the vhf and power. Had to splice in a multi conductor round romex style for a better fit to the clamshell. Then used a four pin inside the cabin. aqua signal see link below Clamshell http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=10001&productId=46515 multi conductor http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product/10001/-1/10001/19716/10001/769/120/9 four conductor connector http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?resultCt=1&jspStoreDir=wm51&catalogId=10001&productId=17635&keyword=211904&y=15&x=17&storeId=10001&ddkey=SiteSearch

Looks like a mil spec connector

Common in the communication industry for military radios. I think that Allied has a selection. There is usually a part number stamped on the body of the connector. If you find that, they can match it perfectly.
