need a new block for my mainsheet

one of the sheaves is cracked in my block that I use for my mainsheet. I probably have to replace the whole block as I cannot get the sheave out.I bought the boat used. I have no manuals.Can anyone tell me what size/type block I should use?thanksRay Milavsky

Garhauer?

My boat is an, '86, just a little older than yours, and a lot of the original blocks are made by Garhauer. You don't see their stuff in many chandleries but it is available over the web. I've attached a link to their catalong. Hopefully, you may find a part similar to the one you need.

Garhauer guys are terrific

If you can't repair it (see my response on your other post) then the Garhauer guys can fix you up. I've had great luck with Garhauer. They produce beautiful blocks, they stand behind them if there's a problem and the prices are very good for the quality. Talk to Guido or Bill and I'll bet they can help you.
