Can we get more info to point you in the right direction?
it won’t be me because I am too far away, but knowing the scope of the project helps

This is really easy to do yourself, depending on what you want to make.

Ok...

The material is 1/2" thick polycarbonate.It measures 26.5" x 29.5".

It has 18 thru drilled and countersunk perimeter holes.

On one axis, it is curved. maybe 0.75" over the 29.5" length.

I am quite comfortable with everything but bending it.
I suspect it involves heat....

So, If I screw up and have to buy a 2nd piece, it may = having it done by a shop

Yeah, that is pretty thick to bend without a little bit of equipment. Sounds like this is a forward hatch replacement?
It is still quite doable as a DIY job, but takes some setup that you probably don't want to do for a single one-off job. Sounds like you've already pretty much figured that out and that's why you're looking for a shop.

If you do decide to have a go yourself, I can tell you exactly how to do it. But, it is a lot of work for just the one job.

Thanks all

This is the slide top to the companionway on the Cherubini Hunter 33.
While the original may have been curved - does it really need to be curved?

It may not need to be, there will be some geometry re-do's if that's the case.

I am considering it.
