Make one yourself
My suggestion, if you can not find one through this post, is to make one. Take a half-inch drive socket that fits over the post. Saw two notches in the socket to match the engine post. Snap handle into socket for the crank and you are good to go. I replaced my YSM 12 starter at the end of last season. Could not believe it cost me $565.00.Installation was two bolts and took less than fifteen minutes. It was not a Yamar starter but was Japanese. You might want to try a tractor dealer that handles Japanese diesel tractors for a better price. Starting by crank is not an easy exercise, as you have to hold down the compression lever and crank at the same time.good LuckIans/v Meant to Be
