Need a Furuno 1621 Radar Display Unit

My Furuno 1621 Radar Display unit has a bad board in it, confirmrd by a local marine electronics shop. There are apparently no rebuilt boards available, and a new board would be about $920 board cost plus swap out labor. Does anyone have or know of a used functioning Furuno 1621 Display unit that I could buy? The Furuno 1623 Display is NOT compatable with the 1621 Scanner, so a whole new 1623 Radar System would be required at about $1,350 to $1,390. I would appreciate any inputs. We are still on the hard with the mast unstepped. I would like to come to a resolution before stepping and launching.

4 years too late. I sold my display because the radome went bad. Keep an eye on Ebay as they appear there occasionally. Or maybe craigs list.

BTW, a new 1715 is only about $1,500.

Or, you may be able to add on to an existing chartplotter.

Pay the cost now or wait and watch ebay until one pops up. Due to the rush to switch to the new digital radars, many radars and radar components are winding up on ebay.

Here's a search that includes all cities 1000 miles from Boston. First hit is a complete setup for $750. Never know what will go bad next. Good luck!
