Need a Anchor Locker Hatch

Hey Sailors

I lost my ancher locker hatch during a hurricane last year and have been trying with no success to get another from Catalina Yachts. They have been looking but just cant find even the mold for a 1983 Catalina 27.

Before I make my first attempt at molding one out of fiberglass sheets, would anyone know where to buy this part, or does anyone have this part to sell?

Have you tried Craigslist? There may be some available from Hurricane Sandy damages.

If you are unsuccessful in your quest for the hatch, I can pull a mold off of mine if the need arises. Keep me posted.

I am headed out to the salvage yard I frequent to pick up a C-27 bow pulpit for the Luger. As I mentioned before I got the stern pulpit a couple of weeks ago but all of the bow pulpits were crushed from when they drop the mast. He just got one in and droppe the mast to the back to save the bow pulpit for me. I am also picking up some stantions and life lines if any are decent.
He has a few C-30's in the yard. If you want I can take one off and send it to you if he still has one in.

This model did not have an anchor locker. It did have a pretty neat plexi glass companion way hatch. Picture attached. I also pickedup a nice feathering prop. I got my bow pulpit for the luger 30 from a Cat 27.

Here's the way to remove a bow pulpit.



Here are the Plexi hatch board. They are in good shape just a little dirty.

Will do I'll be there next week or two for some two speed Lewmars that came in.
