I have a request which someone may or may not have suggestions to help. I am looking for someone with a Catalina 22', swing keel that has their trailer sitting at home growing grass. I am located in the Atlanta area, and need to rent the trailer for 1 month (maybe less) to retrieve a boat from Savannah. I am buying a sailboat from Savannah, GA. Problem is that it doesn't come with a trailer. I would like to rent a trailer from a current owner of a CATALINA 22 (swing keel- this one is a 1976 model) so that I can go to Savannah, check out the boat, and either purchase or not. I will most likely purchase, but for the cost of renting instead of buying I can protect myself. I would be renting the trailer for one month (maybe less) and the agreement would be to drive the trailer to Savannah and back, plus keeping the boat on the trailer until I am able to get another trailer prepared. I would ask for a time period of one month. The trailer would not be driven any appreciable distance other than the one trip to Savannah. I this isn't you, but you know someone who might be interested, please pass this along. I'm hoping that someone out there at Lake Lanier has a trailer taking up space at their house and they could use a little money for rent on it for a month instead of it just sitting there.
