Some have posted that they will have their boats on the hard, and are just a few feet above the high tide line. By a few feet, I mean less than ten feet. I can assure you that if you get an east wind of hurricane strength for a few hours at high tide, ten feet will not be enough. Please think carefully about the surge that comes with this storm. Ten feet or more is more than likely in some areas. If this thing skirts the shore, you are going to have some very high winds from the east as it approaches.
