The predicted time that the flood begins at the entrance to Delaware Bay is 1526. You are anchored off Chestnut St. in Philadelphia. If you get underway bound for sea at 1600 and turn for 8 knots, at what point will you lose the ebb current? (Mile ?)

You may be able to get 27 miles

on the ebb. My Delaware bay current charts suggest that you start 2 hours before flood starts at Breakwater Harbor. You then have slack water at Philadelphia.
