Navico Wheelpilot

I am in the market for an autopilot for my 85' H31. After some initial research I am down to the WP100 ($800) or WP300CX ($1000) by Navico both are self-contained units including the drive unit, compass, and control panel, mainly due to ease of installation. Does anybody have any experience with any one of those units on a H31 or similar size boat?

I also did some research on the Navico units and also talked to a couple of people that have installed them. Based on their feed back I also purchased one but have not received it yet. JSI has them for $825 including shipping.
