removehtml]I asked about cruising guides to Narragansett Bay area a while back and got some recommendations. I bought the newly revised Maptech Embassy Guide to the New England Coast. After going through it for the past two weeks, I can recommend it highly. It's one of the best cruising guides I've seen for any area --- almost 600 pages packed with info. Because the original post was lost to the archives, I can't thank the local guys by name for their recommendations, but as they say, "You know who you are." Thanks again. I Think I was One...
...of those who recommended Maptech Cruising Guides. The new version that you bought now combines all of th New England States within it and is a great book, too. I bought the whole chart kit at last September's Newport Boat Show and even got the PC Software for charting routes. I will be going to Maine this summer and look forward to using it as I did back in 2002.
