Mystery starboard lazarette leak - help!

We've got a leak in the aft starboard lazarette of our Hunter Legend 35.5. It's salt water and fills only to the waterline of the boat, but has also intruded into the starboard quarterberth. We can't find the source -- the throughhulls have all been checked and replaced, but the leak remains. Does anyone know about this and how to fix it?

Thanks Stu. We wondered if it might be from a hairline crack in the rudder tube but haven't pulled the rudder yet and attempted a repair, in part because the cost estimate was about $2000 and the repair person wasn't even sure that was the source. Any further thoughts?
