Mystery block

Oday 192 Eagle Creek Reservoir
This block is at the top of my mast in the front. Why? Not a halyard block and I wouldn’t think for a topping lift since it’s in front. I’m stumped.

You are just throwing out the easy question…
The block is on a “crane” that faces the bow. Pretty big block maybe it is the photo. It is used to hold a Spinnaker halyard. Such a sail could be a standard spinnaker or an asymmetrical spinnaker. For your use I would opt for the latter.

Fun to keep the boat moving when the winds die down to a hares breath.:biggrin:
