Well, before I decided to try to bust my ankle a while back, I did actually start some work on my boat. Now that I am "healed", I am getting back at it. Including spending money on various epoxies, marine grade plywood, etc... Here is the link to my bloggy post on the start of the project.

Some nice work the PO did there. Then again, sometimes I wonder if I'm going to be at the end of the next owner's string of expletives.

Wow that is too bad.. I just bought a 1977 Oday 25, and feel very fortunate with my purchase. The bulk heads and deck are rock solid, but I did notice a very very slight leak of water through one of the mast tabernacle bolts, so I pulled it and caulked it two nights ago before a t-storm rolled through. I am gonna double check all windows and roof joints for leaks now. That repair looks like alot of work. I agree with a previous post that to figure time on boat repairs to at least triple what you think to get a more realistic time frame! Good luck to you.

Hey Plainssailor, nice to hear they all aren't like mine! lol Anyway, the biggest time consumer is waiting on epoxy to cure or the temps to be right for staining and applying poly. Hoping to have things taken care of this coming weekend. Then its on to the next item(s) on the list and hope to splash near end of April. Thanks for the good wishes!
