hi,
i've been following this mailing list since the day i bought my Vega,
nearly two months ago.
it still has the compass under the bridge deck, and the Albin O-22 combi
engine.
Vega #768 'Engage!' is located in Monnickendam, the Netherlands, and i
plan to keep her there in the marina. it's about an hour and a half by
bike, train and bus to get there from Utrecht where i live, close to
Amsterdam.
Vega 768 from 1970, previously named 'ha ha' was poorly maintained by
the previous owner. it's my first boat, and i have never worked on a
boat, or an engine before. the last two months i've been in a steep
learning curve, fixing electricity, refurnishing the wood, currently
working on the engine.
i plan to use the ship as a sailing tactical media lab, for cultural and
idealistic projects, therefore i named the ship after my company
'Engage! Tactical Media' (Starta företag - Engage.nu)
i've been taking some pictures along the way, including the craning into
the water last saturday.

internet connection).
cheers,
