Hunter 456 Ponte Vedra
Well, the boat is new to me. In the next couple of days I will post a story about sailing it back solo from Cape Hatteras. The weather crazy. It was a hoot.

My question, have any here who own the 456 put a washer dryer on their boat? My is completely plumber for it and looks like it had one. But it appears I only have 21 inches of depth at the narrowest point. Most of the smaller washers I have found are 23 plus inches deep. I need help and will need a lot more in the future. The boat needs a lot of TLC and maintenance.
Thank you
Franklin

Based on threads I have read you will need to remove the bulkhead and doorway to install a washer dryer then reinstate them. Suggest getting a qualified marine woodworker.

The ones I looked at will drop down through the hatch. It is the cabinet depth that is a concern.

You probably right as I was thinking about a Hunter 46, 466 and 460. This thread might be helpful.

My 456 is already set up for one I believe had one. My problem is cabinet depth. I think, at the base, I have about 21 inches of depth. It does widen with the bull flair higher. The smallest washer driers I have found are 23 inches deep.
