I've been impatiently waiting to post this. Finally I can. I just bought a 1982 Hunter 33. My first sailboat. I was real nervous until I found this site a few weeks ago. All the good reviews on these models made be feel a lot better about my decision.

And welcome to the Cherubini club. Wish you could have had her out with us last evening. Winds offshore at 14-19 knots. Flat seas with whitecaps! Didn't want to come back to work. You have a really good boat and in those conditions she would have been a blast! But just sittin' "at the dock of the bay" she will look sleek and fast. Have fun!!

for the responses. Just keep on monitoring the forums because I'm sure I'll have lots of question. I've already gone thru and read most of the archives. I'll try to take some pics of any projects as I go along. Current plans are build my sailing skills back up and then return to the Santa Barbara/Ventura CA area where I learned to sail.
