My new BOAT BUDDY

Another rainy day, sigh. I got out my sewing machine and a pair of scissors and converted my 5 gal. bucket tool holder to a 2 gal bucket tool holder. I replaced the metal handle with a piece of line. Now, this is something that will make sense on my boat. A 2 gal pail for deck washing etc and a reasonably sized tool holder for projects (the 5 gal bucket was just to big and heavy). I know the original developer of the "BUCKET BUDDY" and I will contact him to suggest he start making this size for boat owners, or just take one of the generic rip-offs, that we have all been given for some holiday, and make your own.

Duluth Trading is the manufacturer of the original "BUCKET BOSS" (the canvas tool holders for 5 gal. buckets). If you like this idea, give them a call or send them an e-mail to show your support of this idea. I don't have any interest in this other that I think this is a good idea and it would be neat to see this board influence what products are available to us. Maybe we could do it with other products and manufacturers. Power to the people (we used to say that in the '70s).
