My latest cruising stories are out, two pieces in the current issue of "Points East". You can read them in the online issue if you are not in New England where you can pick up an issue at most marinas and marine supply stores.

Roger, A very fine article about using a hurricane hole.

Excellent Roger, really enjoyed those on this cold and wet Ohio Thanksgiving morning. The photos and illustrations were also excellent. What struck me was that you were alone through all of this. Which is my own situation. I am a caregiver and wonder what the nurse would do if I didn't make it home. Except for my short stay in Florida all of my boat work and most of my sailing has been solo. That's not complaining, just the way things have been with everyone having their own boats and/or hobbies. I hope everyone reading this has a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.

Both a good read, Roger. And familiar to those of us who read your posts on this forum. Congratulations - Points East must have good editorial taste.

These are good articles, but ...

your article about sailing to Bermuda in time for lunch is a classic. That is a good article for someone starting to learn about sailing, sail trim and steering. Very good explanation about what to look for.
