Jack,

That's great. I have folks that when out there we setup flyby pics & share them.
I have one taken of my boat in a frame & others have them on their bulkheads prominently displayed..

I don't know if it's really 15 minutes of fame, but my boat is in an unofficial Jake Owen video made by Jake himself.

My wife's sister's son's wife's father's boat was "filmed" and showed up on the "images of New York" video sailing down the East River.
In some states that might be the same person.

Yea,

I knew there were others on this site that had their boats made "Famous", if even in fleeting passing.

There is a level of proudness that go along with our boats. I guess that's why I started this thread. I thought this may also add hope to our new owners. Maybe give them something to look forward to on what may be realized in showing off the fruits of their labors.

Merlin,

All dogs are like single guys, only out for the ride pal.
Moving & scents galore, wow what a treat.

I've had dogs my whole life & I can say,
dogs are better people than people.

I have a hunch. You are a dog owner, hence your post. I like this as
I am currently volunteering my time at a rescue shelter & looking for my NEXT dog.

My Irish Setter Tara died. It's just like losing a family member man.
Why do dogs have a short lifespan, it just doesn't seem fair.

Out of everyone on that SLOW boat to Cuba, I'll bet the dog had the best time.
I wrote a great reply to Merlin's funny post & as always, My Windows crashed & I lost all of what I wrote.

Since this thread is maybe now off on a tangent, I wanted to reply to Merlin, as his post was funny. "What about the doggie?"

Before I was rudely crashed by Windows, Bill Gates or my internet provider, I added this about dogs.

On YouTube, for dog & cat owners, there are videos called, "The secret lives of Dogs & also, The Secret Lives of Cats". I promise you as an owner, you will be blown away for the true scientific insight you may or, may not have viewed you pet in.

In addition, there is a scientific article titled, "Dog's Domestication of Man". This is the theory of how the "alpha dog, namely the WOLF," first found its way into the caveman's society roughly 100,000 to 150, 000 years ago. This also tells much.

So, I ask again, who had the most fun the people or the DOG?

Captnron. You are making me wax nostalgic again. Where else but Florida could such a thing happen?

How about Google Earth? Might be fairly common to find your boat in the yard for the winter, but I thanks to the log book I found us in an anchorage on 5/25/13.

Thanks CR, I'll check those out.
I know what you went through with losing your dog, we had a wonderful yellow Lab that was stolen from us when he was 4. He was a Christmas present to my wife and for 3 years our only child.
The dog had more fun.

Photos I took sailing yesterday made it on the 10:00 local news, this station shows viewer photos sent in called "Hotshots" during the weather segment. Any Hunter 340 owner should recognize the cabin windows in the photo.
