I just visited "The Odyssey" and there is over 2 ft. of snow on her decks and in the cockpit, the snow goes from the floor to over the cabin roof! I just posted photos of it in the "OwnersPhoto album". And how is your winter sailing season going? Hope your having more fun than I am. Wisconsin winters are "HELL"!!! Steve, frozen in Wisconsin.... P.S. 4.5 months to spring lift in.................... .. /

Down here in Northern IL...

It's a beautiful, balmy 21 degrees, 3 feet of snow. We were thinking of going sailing later today, but the winds appear light. C'mon Steve, cheer up...only 4 weeks to the Chicago Sail Expo! Bruce Hill GailForce

I shouldn't complain

WOW! Two feet of snow and I have been complaining that the temp is in the 50's for a few days. Sailing in Florida is normally great at this time of year. It gets kind of chilly on the water when it is in the 50's and I wait a few days until it goes back up into the 60 or 70's. Hang in there surely it will get better.

I thought it was cold here in Florida

I have been complaining about the cold here in Florida that has made sailing "miserable" the last two weeks. We have set a record that has stood for 112 years. For the past 10 nights we have been below 32 each night dropping as low as 19 twice. Our high's each day have yet to hit our normal lows of mid-40's. With all of that said I think that you would trade me our weather for yours without hesitation. Hope you get some warmth soon. As for us here in Jacksonville, it should be about 65 on Saturday with 10-15k of wind. I'll drink one for you. Rs

You need a hobby

This is the first good snow we have had in a long time. Take up ice boating.
