I took this of my dock neighbor while we were sailing. He was checking his sails because I was catching him

You can see in the zoom he is smiling. It must be eating him up (he doesn't like hunters). It shouldn't...my boat is bigger and has more sail per displacement so I would have to be a terrible sailor to not catch him.Maybe he will less critical now

...he shook out his reef, also. Why the hell did he have it in? You say, 'he doesn't like hunters'. Did he ever tell why? Anyway Freedom 30's are anything but speed merchants.

Reef

He had one reef in and I had two for the crossing of the ship channel. Wind is higher there and wind was actually dying down too. So after we both crossed the channel, we took our reefs out. His is a Freedom 32' and yeah, it doesn't point well. Why doesn't he like them...because he thinks they aren't good quaility.
