My advice is to get someone small and flexible back there to replace it.

I currently service a 1981 Hunter 27 for the Scouts and the area is small back there. I would suggest removing it and getting the model number. Not many places sell it. I know the design of it and you may want tostick with that one. I will be gone rest of week due to surgery but will be glad to look for it and advise if you will remind me next week via forum email. I think the space will only allow that one. Even removed the engine on site to put a freeze plug in last week which was the first in all my years as a sailboat dealer now retired. Only if you knew what I had to fix on this boat due to neglect.

I had to replace my muffler a few years ago. You will need a below the water line muffler. I brought the muffler that you were pointed to. It is not a lift muffler that is used to prevent sea water back into your engine. It appeared to me that the Vetus muffler shown should only be used downstream of the lift type muffler. I had to have Centek Industries custom make one for the space available. The new one is stout fiberglass. Look Centek industries up and give them a call.
