Muffler Leak?

I think I have a leak in the fiberglass water lift exhaust muffler on our '87 Hunter 40.

Does anyone have any experience with these? Any chance that we can get it out without removing the engine? :cussing:

Not quite sure about 'I think I have a leak' ?? What makes you think you have one?

Update:

Turns out that the inlet to the muffler was indeed badly cracked. We were able to tilt the front of the motor up and at least turn the muffler around to perform a fiberglass repair. Unfortunately, I couldn't get it out of there so doing the repair was quite tricky.

Looks like it it no longer leaking. I hope it lasts!
