I've got a man who started working for me recently and he says:
I've sailed my O'Day 26 from Ft Myers, Florida to Texas then south to and around Cape Horn and back up to the Galapagos, then back down to the Horn, around and back to Miami.

POSSIBLE???????????

Doubt it

We have an O'day 26, and I can say with almost surety that that is extremely unlikely. The boat is a great day sailor/coastal cruiser, but she struggles in heavy weather. If that person has a similar boat as mine, he is either very lucky for not having encountered bad weather around the Horn (which is possible) or full of it. Did you ask him how long each leg of his trip took? With no real head, no refrigerator, less than 6 feet of headroom, and no gimbaled stove, it must have been one uncomfortable sail. Hopefully, you don't trust this guy with sensitive business details.
