mppt controller on h41, were to

I am istalling a Victron 30A mppt controller on my h41, i read the instructions and they encourage to mount the controller as close as possible to the battery bank, i notice a huge colling system with a lot of metal fins at the back at the controller. I suppose because my boat do not have any power usage during the week the controller will dispose the electricity as heat. My question es were did you installed your controller on your h41 ?

I have the same controller for my H410's solar array, and installed it under the chart table on the port side. I've never noticed any overheating issues with it installed there.

We have a H41AC and have mounted the 2 x MPPT controllers under the chart table on the stbd side as that is very close to the batteries and we have not had any issues with them being there in the last 12 months.
