Moving Up...

As some of you my know, we have been looking for "just the right" 25...it appears as if we have found it. We just closed the deal and will be traveling this weekend to pick it up. For a time, we will hold on to the 22 but eventually it will make way for its bigger brother. Hopefully, you guys will allow me to hang with the group...this forum provides MANY improvements that can apply to variety of boats...

I did the same thing: C22 to a C25 (1981 #4986 FK SR) in 1987, owned her for 11 years, great boat, outboard engine.

I urge you to study not only your diesel engine but also the critical importance of what will be in your case a hard-to-access stuffing box.

I have read many of your posts and find them to be informative and accurate! I will take note of your suggestion...if I have a problem with the stuffing box, I can always shove one of (adult) sons back there!
